Bossier City, LA – Lo Walker, the popular mayor of Bossier City, officially endorsed his choice to replace Mike Johnson as the next State Representative for District 8, throwing his support behind Robbie Gatti.
 
“Robbie Gatti is a Christian conservative who has worked tirelessly to make Bossier better his entire life. Robbie went to Plantation Park, Greenacres Middle School, and Airline High School. He knows our people and our problems.  His military, medical and ministry background will serve our citizens well in Baton Rouge. I am proud to endorse Robbie Gatti to be the next State Representative for District 8,” said Walker.
 
The special election for House District 8 is scheduled for March 25th.
 
“I am humbled to have received the support of Mayor Walker.  He is a great example of a servant leader and has been at the forefront of tremendous growth for our city.  I look forward to working with him as our representative in the state legislature to continue building the necessary infrastructure that will attract even more development and create more good paying jobs,” said Gatti.  “At the same time, we have talked at length about the importance of supporting our oil and gas industry in every way possible to do what is necessary to get people back to work.”
 
Robbie Gatti has owned Vivian Physical Therapy since 1997 and served his country as a Major in the Louisiana Army National Guard since 1988.  He is a Reserve Deputy Marshall for Bossier City and serves as a chaplain for Louisiana State Police Troop G. An Ordained Southern Baptist Minister since 2013, Robbie has served as Pastor of Missions and Evangelism for First Baptist Bossier. He serves on the State Board for Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Louisiana Military Advisory Council and is a member of the National Guard Association. An avid supporter of 2nd Amendment Rights, he is also a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and Ducks Unlimited.
Robbie and his wife, Jennifer, have been married 22 years and are the proud parents of Hal (17) and Hayden (16).
