Shreveport, LA – The PT-PAC, the official Political Action Committee for the American Physical Therapy Association, announced today that they are supporting Robbie Gatti in the State Representative race in Louisiana’s 8th District.

“Robbie has been an exemplary physical therapist and business owner for decades. He has taken care of patients in their most vulnerable state and has shown care and compassion for families needing help in putting their bodies and their lives back together again. We proudly support his candidacy and know he will be an advocate for both health care providers and their patients in the Louisiana legislature,” said Sharon Dunn, PT, PhD, OCS, President of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Gatti graduated from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center with a degree in Physical Therapy and bought Vivian Physical Therapy in 1993.

“It is an honor to have the support of my Physical Therapists colleagues. They represent an organization that demands excellence from its members. As a long time health care provider, I will take issues dealing with access for patients very seriously and will do everything possible to advocate for the sanctity of the provider/patient relationship,” said Gatti.

Robbie Gatti served his country as a Major in the Louisiana Army National Guard since 1988. He is a Reserve Deputy Marshall for Bossier City and serves as a chaplain for Louisiana State Police Troop G.
